Three Augusta Prep graduates earn Soccer Scholar All-America honors

Augusta Prep Class of 2022 graduates Mae Wallace Baker, Sage Connolly and Beatty Joseph were all named to the United Soccer Coaches High School Scholar All-America Team for the 2021-2022 academic year Friday. This trio of soccer standouts led Augusta Prep to state championships three of the past four years, including consecutive titles the past two years.
To be nominated, a scholar-athlete must have a GPA of 3.75 or higher and earn All-State recognition. Baker, Connolly and Joseph, who each sported a weighted GPA of 4.3 or higher, became the fifth, sixth and seventh Augusta Prep student-athletes to earn United Soccer Coaches High School Scholar All-America accolades. Baker, Connolly and Joseph were three of just 72 girls selected throughout the United States, with only one other female scholar-athlete selected in Georgia and South Carolina.

Baker, Connolly and Joseph will be invited to the United States Coaches All-America Ceremony, Jan. 14, in Philadelphia, where they will be recognized for their efforts in the classroom and on the field. Augusta Prep, the top private school and college prep school in the Augusta area, congratulates these three student-athletes for all their hard work in the classroom and on the field.
