PREP FAMILY ASSOCIATION
Hello Augusta Prep Families!

My name is Greta Neuman and I am excited to be the Prep Family Association (PFA) President for 2022-2024. As the mother of a 6th grader, I’ve had the pleasure of being a Prep parent for 3 years. I am excited to serve and be part of a community that seeks to support our teachers, staff, children, and families through a variety of events, activities, and services.

The PFA was formed with three goals in mind:

1. to promote and advance the well-being of our school;
2. to foster closer relationships among parents, students, faculty and staff; and
3. to encourage the active participation of all caregivers in school activities.

After 2 ½ years of limited activities and interaction, we are ready to resume many of the community-building events that are such an important part of Augusta Prep. We look forward to seeing our parents, grandparents, and caregivers back and engaging with students, counselors, faculty, staff and other Prep families. In doing so, we strengthen the bonds that make our school so special.
All of our Augusta Prep parents and care-givers are automatically members of the PFA and are greatly encouraged to become active in this important organization. Although our executive board guides the committees established to assist with our mission, we welcome input from all.

At our bi-monthly meetings, you’ll have the opportunity to hear from some of Prep’s leadership team and a variety of speakers on topics of interest to our families, learn about upcoming events and volunteer needs. This is a great forum to share your ideas! We also have a variety of exciting events and offerings throughout the year that I hope you will choose to participate in. These include the following:

•    Fall Carnival
•    Grandparents Day
•    Graduation
•    Educational Speakers
•    Head of School Book Club
•    Campus Cares
•    Teacher Luncheons and Treats
•    8th Grade Honors Night
•    Upper School Honors Day
•    Senior Honors Night
•    Middle to Upper School Transition Night
•    National Honor Society Tapping Ceremony
•    Grocery Cards and Box Tops
•    And much more!!

If you would like to get involved, please sign up for committees here or contact me and I will be happy to work with you to find a role where your talents can best be utilized. In addition, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or suggestions! Thank you for being part of this wonderful community.
