AUGUSTA PREP ATHLETICS

Interscholastic athletics, offered to students in grades 5 through 12, are an important part of the educational program at Augusta Prep.

At the varsity level, Augusta Prep is a member of the Georgia Independent Athletic Association, where we compete in 19 varsity sports, to include baseball, basketball (B & G), cheerleading, cross country (B & G), football (B), golf (B & G), soccer (B & G), swimming (B & G), tennis (B & G), track and field (B & G), wrestling (B), Clay Targeting (B &G) and volleyball (G). Augusta Prep is also a member of the Augusta-Aiken Middle School League (AAMSL) for most of these sports.

Each student-athlete under his or her care will learn the importance of teamwork, team discipline, good sportsmanship, appreciation of an active and healthy lifestyle and the joy of competition.

Augusta Prep has one of the best athletics programs in the Augusta area with 57 State Championships, 55 State Runner-up Championships and 159 Region Championships in our 60-year school history. We welcome your participation in this tradition.
