  • Parent Testimonials

"Our first-year experience with Augusta Prep has been very impressive. Our daughter started Prep in 9th grade during the pandemic. Her academic and social transition went smoothly. Her academic load was a challenge, but never cramped her style in terms of her social life, sports and the arts. She became in involved in many aspects of the school from sports to arts and has made friends in all grade levels of high school. The students have been welcoming and there’s an overall Prep community feeling on campus. The teachers have the best interest of their students at heart and aim to help them succeed by offering extra help each day at the end of the day.

"In terms of the pandemic, the administration really did their homework over the summer to allow these students to attend school in the fall when so many of their peers at other schools were not able to attend in person school. They nailed the logistics of handling the pandemic and all of the protocols that went into place! Overall win!"

Our children have loved being at Prep for five years. All of their teachers in the lower school have been caring, compassionate, and capable, and have truly cultivated a love of learning in our children. The kids do not want the year to end! Beyond the regular classroom, they have had PE daily as well as library, technology, art, music, and Spanish, and they have also enjoyed activities like cross-country after school. The administration and support staff are wonderful as well! I am thankful for all the support this school has given my kids and I look forward to continuing next year.

    • middle schoolers have the same teachers for 2 years in a row
    • small class sizes
    • college preparatory
    • teacher freedom with curriculum
    • parent input/involvement
My 6th grader loves Augusta Prep because of the caring staff & the academics that Prep offers.

My 9th grader loves Augusta Prep because it prepares you for high school and college. She said, “At Prep, we get a lot of freedoms and I don’t know if I would get that somewhere else.” - Kristen

"The Augusta Prep community has provided our son with a superb school experience! The teachers, coaches and faculty hold students to high academic and moral standards, while caringly supporting their needs and interests. Teachers can regularly be seen going from personal tutoring sessions after school, to the ball fields or fine arts center to cheer on and encourage their students. The athletic staff all work together so student-athletes can play multiple sports, or participate in various activities, in the same season (my son played football, baseball, basketball, soccer and ran cross country this year alone!). Students of all ages are encouraged to mentor and help their peers, and students in other grades as well." - Melissa
