Tuition and Affordability

Augusta Preparatory Day School is committed to helping make a Prep education accessible by providing financial support to families with demonstrated financial need. Financial support is available for students entering Kindergarten through 12th Grade. On average, thirty percent of our families receive scholarships and financial support. All families must apply for financial aid through Clarity.

To apply, create a Clarity account. The applications is mobile-friendly, takes less than 30 minutes, and allows you to save your progress. A $60 submission fee applies, though you may share your application with other participating schools at no extra cost using the dropdown menu. After submitting, please return to your dashboard to complete any final steps.

The deadline for completing the financial aid application, including relevant supplemental documents, is December 15 for current families and January 15 for priority admission applications, then on a rolling basis for new families as funding is available.

  • What is Flexible Tuition?

Flexible Tuition is a need-based tuition assistance program that allows families to apply for reduced tuition taking their financial circumstances into account. This process looks at what a family can afford and what is the fair share a family will pay for tuition.

Flexible Tuition is designed to make an Augusta Prep education accessible to more families by meeting the needs of each family’s unique financial situation. Therefore, all mission appropriate students are afforded the opportunity to be a part of the Prep community.
  • Is my family eligible for Flexible Tuition?

Flexible Tuition is offered to students in Grades K-12. There is a wide range of families who qualify, from those who can afford only minimal tuition to those who can afford almost full tuition. We recognize that every family situation is different and that even a small amount of reduced tuition can make a critical difference for many families. All families who feel they cannot meet the full tuition obligation are encouraged to apply for assistance and must complete the Clarity application.
