Augusta Prep wins State Literary Competition

Augusta Prep added another state championship trophy on Wednesday, March 16.
Augusta Prep's Upper School students won the State Literary Competition today in Forsyth, Ga.  Two weeks earlier, Augusta Prep won the Region Literary competition at Augusta Prep.

Individual state champions include: Lukas Kassatly (extemporaneous speaking), Mayah Nussbaum (girls solo), and Ethan Fender, Steven Joseph, Will Monnig and Ian Purdy (boys quartet). 

Individual state runner-up finishers include: Russell DeLecuona (boys solo), Charlotte LeRoy (personal essay), Russell and Meera Chokshi (duo interpretation), and Mayah, Meera, and Marlowe Weatherred (girls trio).
Also, Kian Sheridan placed third in spelling.
