Augusta Prep golf standout signs with Ivy League school

On Wednesday afternoon, Augusta Prep senior Mia Sessa signed her letter of intent to play Division I golf next year at Yale University. The Bulldogs golf team, which plays out of the Yale Golf Course in New Haven, Conn., has a victory, a runner-up showing and another top-five finish in four tournaments this fall.

Mia, who sports a 4.3 GPA at the Augusta area's top college prep school, said she plans to major in business in college.

"I'm really glad that all my hard work went into something great," Mia said. "I'm really excited for the opportunity."
