Summer 2010 Information

Summer hours are 8:30 am through 3:30 PM Monday, June 7, through Friday, August 6 .  The campus and all activities will be closed Monday July 5 through Friday July 9.

New information will be added when it is received, thank you.

 

Student Emergency Form

Parents: Please complete the following emergency information for each of your children who attend Augusta Prep. This confidential information will be given to the division assistants and school nurse for their records.  Thank you for taking time to complete the form and helping us "go green" this year!

Cavalier Dining

Augusta Prep offers its own Dining Plan, presenting a daily variety of nutritious wholesome foods for lunch. As we look ahead to the 2009-10 school year at Prep, we encourage your student to enroll and enjoy eating in the Cavalier Café.

Benefits of enrollment in Cavalier Dining:

  • Daily choice of hot entrees and sides, salad bar, deli sandwich bar, soup bar, and dessert for Upper school and Middle school students. Lower school students enjoy hot entrees and sides, choices of pre-made sandwiches and/or salads and dessert.
  • The Café monthly menus are posted in advance at www.augustaprep.org under the Campus Life tab.
  • Calorie, carbohydrate and fat values are posted on the salad and deli sandwich bar for your student's information.
  • Second servings are available from the hot, salad, and deli sandwich bars.
  • Trained, uniformed servers enjoy helping the students with lunch selection.
  • If your student desires vegetarian meals or has food allergies please contact the Dining Manager. 

Seniors receive a 25% discount due to their off-campus lunch privileges.

Student Orientation is on August 13, 2010. 

Upper School

Students new to the Upper School and the freshman class will have orientation from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m..  Orientation will begin in the Hull Fine Arts Center and then students will proceed to McCampbell Hall.  Students will follow their schedules, meet their teachers, and familiarize themselves with the campus.

Students new to the Middle School and the fifth graders will have orientation from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m..  Orientation will begin in the Hull Fine Arts Center and then students will proceed to Founders Hall.  Students will meet their teachers, organize their lockers, and familiarize themselves with the campus.

Lower School

9:00 a.m. - 10:00 am - Orientation for New Families

This time is reserved for families and students new to the school. This group orientation provides an introduction to the procedures (carpool, lunch, communications, etc.) of the Lower School and includes a time for questions. The orientation process will begin in the Lower School Cafetorium, followed by a brief visit to your child's classroom.


You may park in the parking lot on the right when you drive through the gates onto campus or along the gravel space in front of the cafetorium.

10:00 am - 11:00 a.m. Meet the Teacher

This time is designated for returning students (PK through 4th) to have the opportunity to visit their classroom and meet their teacher. This is a drop-in visitation time and there will be no structured activities planned.
