Go Green with Augusta Prep
Posted 12/11/2009 04:00PM

The Augusta Prep Green Club, along with the faculty, staff and students, is in action to go green on campus. The Augusta Prep energy bill has been significantly reduced, and the school community is also recycling paper, cardboard, plastic, and aluminum.

To further its impact, the Green Club is selling aluminum water bottles. The 20oz. bottles, selling for only $10.00 each, have a screw top lid. The lining is BPA-free making them the perfect and safe gift for the holidays!

The Green Club’s goal is to raise money to purchase a dishwasher and all dishes for the Upper School and Middle School cafeteria before February 2010.

To place your order, please complete the following order form online. Your water bottle is available now, so hurry while supplies last. If supplies begin to get low, the Green Club will reorder and delivery should be before Christmas. However, placing your order now will ensure an adequate supply. Daniel Hull, Green Club president, will have the bottles available after the holiday break begins and can arrange delivery.

Thank you to Daniel Hull and Mrs. Tara Chokshi, Fine Arts Department Chair, for designing the Green Club logo.

Help us in the efforts to make Augusta Prep more sustainable!
