Where
do I find the news stories? The
latest five stories will be on the home page.
Click on "more news and photos" to see all the stories for the month.

How do I find a story that is not on the
Headlines page? Enter key words
in the search bar on the Headlines page.
You can use the sport, student's name or event to search. Selecting the month and year on the drop down boxes will also allow you to view stories that have been posted.

Where are the sports stories? All stories will be posted on the Headlines
page. We no longer have a Sports Page or
Division Page for stories.

Where are the photos? The Photo Gallery is located on the Headlines
page on the right. Click on the photo
and see all the photos posted on the site.

Can I have a copy of a photo? Yes, all photos on the site are for our
parents to download. Click on the
magnifying glass at the top of the Photo Slide show when you see the photo you
want to download. After the image is displayed
on your screen, right click on the photo and "save image as" and save the photo
to your desktop. You will be able to
print a high quality photo and have up to an 8x10 print made.

How long will the photos be posted on the
web? The Photo Gallery will have
many folders. Once we have multiple folders with 15 to 50 photos in each folder, the oldest folder will be removed.
Average time a folder is posted depends on what is happening at Augusta
Prep.

If I have photos I want to share, how do I
post them on the web? You may
copy them onto a disc and drop them off in Mrs. Shaffer's box in Morris
Hall. Sending them as attachments in a
email is also a great idea.
Calendars

Where do I find events for my child? Each division has a calendar. All LS events, along with Prep Community
events, are posted on the Lower School Calendar. The calendar is located in the Academics button
and under the Lower School section. The
Middle School and Upper School calendars are also located under the division
section.

Where are the Athletic Events posted? A separate calendar has all the games for the
30 teams at Augusta Prep. The calendar
is located under the Athletic button.

There are so many games on the Athletic
calendar; can I see only the games that my child is participating in? Yes, on the right side of the calendar you
can filter the athletic teams that you wish to see on your calendar.

Where are the school holidays? The Prep Community calendar has all the
breaks, holidays and events for all divisions.
These dates are also on the division calendars.
12.
I have two children at Augusta Prep in
different divisions and many sports, where can I see all the information for
all their activities? The
Calendar button on the home page is a master calendar. Every event on campus, along with the
athletic events are posted on this master calendar. This calendar can also be filtered for the
sports your child is participating in at Augusta Prep.

I want to invite our Augusta Prep community
to an event; can I post an event on the calendars? Yes, if you wish to invite the Augusta Prep
community to an event you may add your event to the Prep Community
calendar. Click on the red + and fill in
the information. Your email will be sent
to Dora Shaffer and after reviewing the event, will post the event.
Alerts

What is the yellow bell next to a calendar
event? This is the symbol for
Alerts. This system will send you a text
message to your cell phone or an email to you account reminding you of an
event. The system can remind you from
two days in advance up to 30 minutes of the start of the event.

How do I sign up for Alerts? Click on the yellow bell and follow the
directions. Right now, Alltel is the only phone carrier that our site does not support.
16.
Can I sign up for Alerts for my child's
sports? Yes, each team page has
a yellow bell. Follow the directions and
sign up for updates, cancellations, or postponements for your child's team
games.
17.
What other Alerts are there? You may sign up for news, sports, and blog
alerts. Every calendar event has a yellow bell which allows you to sign up for an alert.
Prep Families Portal

I received a username and password, what is
this for? The Prep Families
button on the homepage is a portal. It
is password protected. Each family has
an account. Please share this username
and password with your children. The
information in this section of the web site is for our community only, not for
a visitor on our site.

What is behind the portal? There are many sections to the portal.
a. Announcements
- Private announcement for our parents and students, the Galileo
password.
b. Resources
- The handbooks for each division are located in this section. Forms from our school which parents will need
from time to time. Links to other sites
that are helpful to our parents.
c. Photo
of the Week - A new photo selected from our parents, faculty, staff and yearbook
photographers.
d. Video
Gallery - Video clips from our classrooms, sporting events and many
activates on campus.

Can I
have an additional account for a family member?
Yes, complete to form in the portal and the account will be
created. They will receive an email with
